Peak Health is happy to offer Energy Medicine to its clients.  If you are interested in improving your quality of life, consider how treating the energies that influence the functions of your organs and body systems can inform you about your life and your ailments. The beauty of energy medicine is that it gives you the opportunity to slow down, connect with the body and your ability to care for yourself, and feel nourished and whole.

What is Energy Medicine?   

Energy medicine is one of the quickest, easiest and safest ways to reconnect with your body’s needs and effect positive change—physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. It integrates a wide range of techniques from ancient traditions that have been recognized for thousands of years, such as Acupuncture, Reiki, and Touch for Health. Energy Medicine offers us ancient wisdom with a modern approach to healing.

As a Practitioner, Barbara’s modern mind-body approach allows her to truly personalize sessions to her clients’ needs. Eden Energy Medicine is unique, because it utilizes 9 energetic systems, combined into one highly effective modality.

Common concerns that Barb helps to address include: stress, sleep, anxiety, pain, physical ailments, emotional trauma, hormones, digestive issues, headaches, grief, feeling stuck or scattered, etc.

Energy Medicine techniques bring disturbed energies back to a state of balance and harmony. These techniques will consist of various forms of light or deeper touch and the movement of Barbara's hands within your body’s energy field.  This method is considered to be non-invasive.

Many of the methods Barbara will use are likely to involve touching or holding points on your body that can assist in identifying and shifting imbalances in your energies. You will always remain fully clothed, with perhaps the exception of your shoes.

Barbara (Demers) Stever, Eden Energy Medicine Practitioner, is pleased to bring EEM to the North Country. 

Barbara was an educator in Berlin for 39 years, before her retirement in 2020. After navigating the pandemic, her passion for holistic health and her strong belief in lifelong learning, prompted her to begin her studies with Eden Energy Medicine. In January, 2024, she completed the second year of a two-year Certification Training.
